Thirteen concrete sculptures of the Nativity of Christ and a ceramic angel are set in a wooden shrine. The angel is attached to the roof support beam in the center of the shrine. She wears long, flowing robes and has outspread wings. Below the angel, on a low, wooden platform is the Nativity scene. Jesus lies in the center of the scene in a wooden crib. Mary kneels and faces him on his proper right. She wears a long robe and head covering. Joseph also faces the crib, standing opposite Mary; he holds a staff. Along the outer edges of the scene are two shepherds. One shepherd stands behind Mary and holds a lamb. The shepherd behind Joseph is kneeling. Five sheep, a donkey and a cow are placed around the outer edges of the scene. The sculptures, with the exception of the angel, are painted white.
