    Description: 
    Full-length uniformed sharp shooter stands behind a waist-high, rough-hewn monolith. The figure holds his rifle in both hands, poised to fire. The rifle's barrel rests atop the monolith.

    Remarks: 
    The monument indicates the general position held by the 2nd Company of the Andrew Sharp Shooters on July 2, 1863. The sculpture, also referred to as MN 158, is one of nine in the park honoring sharpshooter units. It is referenced in the Gettysburg National Military Park Archives, vol. 16 and is listed on the National Park Service List of Classified Structures, 1975-1976.
