    Remarks: 
    This sculpture reflects the former cattle ranch which was once located on the site of the Vallecito Elementary School. The sculpture is one of three by Berry installed on the Vallecito Elementary School playground. Businesses, individuals, and public and private agencies raised $115,000 to build the three sculptures. Among those who donated funds were: San Raphael City Council, $15,000; the Buck Trust $32,000; Dixie School District, $14,000; the county Parks and Recreation Department,$2,500; Chevron, $2,000; the Gannett Foundation, $1,000; and Public Art Works (formerly known as InterArts of Marin), $35,000.
