Description:  Three bronze turtles of various sizes stand in a circle on circular brick foundation. Subject:  Animal -- Reptile -- Turtle Object Type:  Outdoor Sculpture -- Pennsylvania -- Philadelphia Sculpture Owner:  Administered by Fitler Square Association, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Located Fitler Square, 24th & Pine Streets, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Remarks:  The sculpture was initiated by the Fitler Square Neighborhood Association. The sculpture is the first in an edition of five. Children climb on the sculpture. The inscription on a plaque in the ground near the sculpture reads: "Family of Turtles"/Eric Berg Sculptor/in memory of/Joan Stern Switzenbaum/Donated by her sister/Virginia Stern Kaufman/March 18, 1989.
