Berchem, Chicago (On lower section of relief plaque, raised:) GREEN B. RAUM/COL 56TH ILLINOIS INFANTRY/COMMANDING 2ND BRIGADE/7TH DIVISION 17TH CORPS/JUNE 10-JULY 4 1863 signed Founder's mark appears. Description:  A bust-length relief portrait of Colonel Green B. Raum in military uniform, wearing a mustache and beard. The portrait is placed above an inscription, and a decorated border surrounds the relief plaque and separates the inscription from the portrait. The relief plaque is affixed to the upper section of a two-sectioned base, placed on top of a foundation.
