Description:
Two children, a boy and a girl stand in the palm of an upraised proper right hand. The hand extends from a forearm which stands on a round base. The boy stands on the left and holds the Torah in his proper left hand. He wears a yarmulke, plain shirt, trousers and shoes. The girl's proper right hand rests on the boy's proper left shoulder. She has long hair and wears a simple, billowing dress and sandals.

Remarks:
Commissioned by Stanley and Pearl Kissel in memory of their children, Steven and Elizabeth Kissel, who died in separate situations. The figures are representative of Steven and Elizabeth rather than being a likeness of them. IAS files contain an excerpt from the Temple B'rith Kodesh Bulletin, Dec. 11, 1992.
