For related information see: Lancaster, Clay, "Prospect Park Handbook," New York, 1972, pg. 58-60 which describes the location of the sculpture; and Huntington, Edna, "Historical Markers and Monuments in Brooklyn," Brooklyn: Long Island Historical Society, 1952, pg. 45. IAS files contain a copy of the excerpt from the Huntington publication.
