    Remarks:
The sculpture commemorates the centennial of Nebraska Wesleyan University. The commission for the sculpture was one of two resulting from the Centennial Outdoor Sculpture Show at Nebraska Wesleyan in 1988 held in connection with the Central Time Zone Sculpture Symposium. These activities were sponsored by the Nebraska Wesleyan Art Council which assumed responsibility for funding the project. IAS files contain articles from the Lincoln Journal-Star dated June 12, 1992 and June 14, 1992 and transcriptions on adjacent plaque.
