    Description: 
    A fountain with three shallow basins surrounding its base and a larger basin at its top. Flanking the fountain's support column are attenuated dogs standing on their hind feet.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was a gift from a group of Coronado women. The fountain was originally located at the southeast corner of Library Park at Orange and 7th Streets. It was painted sometime after its initial installation. IAS files contain related articles from the Coronado Journal, May 25, 1933; Jan. 11, 1934; and an undated article from the San Diego Evening Tribune. A sketch model was exhibited at the Fifth Annual Exhibition by Members of the Art Guild of Fine Arts Society of San Diego, in the Fine Arts Gallery Balboa Park, San Diego, November 17, 1930 to January 2, 1931.
