Description:
An abstract fountain consisting of hundreds of delicate branches emerging from a central stem to form a spiny sphere that is mounted on a water-filled urn. The branches are misted with a spray of water that trickles down into a pool. The fountain is set in a rectangular basin.

Remarks:
This fountain is one of two identical fountains designed by the artist for the Convention Center. (See IAS AZ000543 for Fountain Sculpture,North). The south fountain was donated in memory of former city councilman Jack H. Laney (1917-1966).
