Description:
A abstract tree nymph with two sections joined and polished surface. The sculpture is kinetic and orbits to suggest the movement of branches and leaves.

Remarks:
The sculpture was commissioned by the Museum. Funds for the sculpture were raised through private donations and through an allocation by the Museum's Foundation. The sculpture was unveiled in the fall of 1991 at the Museum of South Texas (Beaumont, TX) and was exhibited at an art show there for several months. It was then permanently installed at its present location. At time of SOS! survey, sculpture was removed for artist repairs. IAS files contain copy of related article from Upscale Living, Feb. 1992; and copy of artist's drawing.
