Description:
Full-length figures in bronze of the explorers Lewis and Clark. They stand on a round pedestal with a large tree trunk between them. Both men hold long hunting rifles and wear buckskin clothing. The sculpture rests on a round concrete base.

Remarks:
Long Beach is the most western point reached by the Lewis and Clark expedition. The monument was made possible by the City of Long Beach, the Lewis and Clark Trail Committee and Washington State Parks. IAS files contain transcription of nearby plaque.
