(On sloped base panel, bronze plaque, raised letters:) MINIATURE SCULPTURE IS A 1/12 SCALE VERSION OF THE JABLONSKI SCULPTURE A GIFT OF THE ZIMMITE CORPORATION LOCATED IN FRONT OF THE VIEWER. THIS SCALE MODEL WAS COMMISSIONED BY MR. AND MRS. THOMAS T.K. ZUNG IN TRIBUTE TO NOLA M. GUZZETTA'S HUMANITARIAN INTEREST IN PROVIDING FOR THE BLIND A VISION OF ARTISTIC AND ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN THROUGH TOUCH. DEDICATED MAY 18, 1976 IN COOPERATION WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF AKRON CHAPTER OF DELTA GAMMA.

Remarks:
This sculpture is a scale model of an Untitled sculpture by the artist (IAS record 87830069), located just behind it on campus. The scale model was commissioned by Mr. and Mrs. Thomas T. K. Zung, in honor of Nola N. Guzzetta's interest in providing the blind access to art. IAS files contain General Survey and Location of Public Art at the University data sheet, Summer 1993.
