Description:
A female figure with flowing drapery and outstretched arms, symbolizing American womanhood, stands in front of a low rectangular stele that features four medallions commemorating the founders of the D.A.R. The names of the founders are inscribed on the stone below each medallion.

Remarks:
The memorial honors the four founders of the D.A.R. and was a gift of Laetitia and Dysart McMullen. The two bronze commemorative plaques on either side of the base stele were later additions to the memorial.
