Remarks:
Funded with a National Endowment for the Arts, Art in Public Places grant of $50,000 given in 1976 to the City of Jackson. Additional funding was provided by private contributions. In 1998, the sculpture was removed and stored due to construction, but plans were in place to reinstall the sculpture in 1999.
