Description:
A Spanish American War soldier strides forward with his rifle held over his proper right shoulder. The sculpture stands atop a granite base adorned with the insignia of the Spanish War Veterans.

The monument was erected by the citizens of Leominster to honor those who served during the Spanish American War, the Philippine Insurrection, and the China Relief Expedition.
