Description:
Installation of interconnected shrines constructed of geodes and mortar. The site includes a fountain, walls, planter, several small niches and two main shrines. One of the shrines is that of St. Joseph the Educator. A full-length figure of St. Joseph holding the Christ child in his proper left arm stands in a niche perched atop an ornate pedestal. The Lourdes shrine features a full-length figure of Mary inside a grotto. A full-length figure of St. Bernadette stands before Mary. Some of the sidewalks in the installation have architectural remnants embedded in them.
