    Description:
Limestone grave marker in the shape of a tall tree trunk. Perched on the top of the trunk is an eagle. Directly below the eagle is a squirrel climbing up the trunk. Below the squirrel is a vine. To the right of the vine is an opossum climbing over a sawed-off branch. On the other side of the vine is another opossum crawling out of a hole. To the right of the second opossum is a snake with a forked tongue. The snake extends down, under and around a broken branch. In the center of the trunk is a bas-relief of an axe entwined with vines. Below the axe are two scrolls, also in bas-relief. On one side of the scrolls is a cornstalk. Around the monument's base are lilies and ferns. In front of the main tree trunk are two small limestone tree stumps. Extending east of these is a series of smaller stumps.
