    Description: 
    Two architectural sculptures, each with two females in classical garb, are mounted above the west and south (main) entrances of the Floyd County Museum. The west entrance figures stand flanking a round cartouche, each holding a long staff with a torch on the end. Their inner hands are rest upon the cartouche, which is decorated with foliage around the bottom. The south entrance sculpture is within a pediment, with the females seated back-to-back flanking a wreath cartouche encompassing an eagle with spread wings. Each figure holds a spear in the inner hand.
