Description:
A full-length figure of Mary with her hands outstretched, the palms facing downward. She wears an open cloak clasped below the neckline over belted robes, and stands barefoot on a short hemisphere with a serpent under her feet. The sculpture has a short, square base.

The sculpture was originally sited at St. Agnes Academy in Indianapolis, which opened in 1893 and closed in June of 1969. The sculpture was moved to its present location around 1970.
