Description:
A large concrete egg painted white with black, green, and gold lettering. An outline of the State of Indiana and a black wire basket containing white eggs are painted on the front.

Provenance:
Formerly located Courthouse lawn, Warsaw, Indiana spring 1946.
Remarks:
The sculpture has served as a community landmark since its installation and is widely known around the county and state. It was originally installed for a few weeks in the spring of 1946 on the courthouse lawn in Warsaw, Indiana. The sculpture was then returned to Mentone and placed at the southeast corner of Main and Morgan.
