CUNNINGHAM (On second plaque:) IN MEMORY OF THE BUILDER OF CATHOLIC LIBRARY HALL/JULY 3, 1881/FATHER BRAMMER (On third plaque:) THIS IRISH MARELE (sic) CORNERSTONE PRESERVED BY THE ANCIENT ORDER OF HIBERNIANS unsigned Description:  St. Christopher stands dressed in long robes holding a figure of the Christ child on his proper left shoulder. St. Christopher is bearded and has long hair. The Christ child holds a globe with a cross on top with his proper left hand. His proper right hand is raised in a blessing gesture. St. Christopher holds a staff in his proper right hand and supports the Christ child with his proper left arm. The sculpture is painted white. Subject:  Homage -- Cunningham, P. F. F. Cunningham and Father Brammer. Brammer was the builder of Catholic Library Hall which was dedicated July 3, 1881. The sculpture was moved to its present site after 1950.
