Description:
A Civil War soldier stands in dress uniform and a billed cap. He holds a rifle at his proper right side. A bayonet is strapped to his proper left side. There is a tree stump behind the figure. The sculpture is mounted upon a base consisting of a block with a crested cornice and a stepped bottom.
