    Description: 
    Fieldstone grotto with figures of Mary, St. Joseph, St. Bernadette. Mary is placed in a niche approximately seven feet from ground level, her hands clasped in prayer, wearing a white dress with blue belt and blue hooded robe. Two pink roses are at each foot. St. Bernadette kneels before a fence in front of the grotto, wearing a veil, long, pink-colored robes, and a white apron. She is holding a staff. St. Joseph stands with a beard, wearing robes. He holds a pitcher with his proper right hand and his proper left hand holds a stone (loaf of bread?). His feet are shod and his robe is belted at the waist and knotted in the back.

    Grotto was the project of Reverend Sigmund A. Jankowski, known as "Father Jan," pastor of the church from 1946 to 1968. Engineer was Chester L. Jankowski; stone mason was William Buckles. Grotto was financed by Steve Lisek, Sr., and Hattie Lisek.
