Description:
There are three large gargoyles on the north, northeast and southeast facades of the building, as well as numerous other relief figures. The gargoyles on the northeast and southeast are not identical, but both are winged creatures with heads like mastiffs. The creature on the north has a lion-like head and a long, scorpion-like body and tail dangling down the corner of the building. Other reliefs include sea monsters in medallions flanking the east entrance, lion-like heads at the north entrance, and cherub faces.
