VINCENT/DE PAUL DEDICATES THIS/SHRINE AS A LASTING/MEMORIAL TO ITS MEN/AND WOMEN WHO SERVED/THEIR COUNTRY IN WORLD/WAR II./ERECTED A.D. 1948 (On front of wall of base at either end:) IN HONOR OF THOSE/WHO FOUGHT AND DIED (List of names in alphabetical order in twelve columns over four sections of front wall of base, flanking the statue) unsigned Founder's mark appears.
    Description: 
    A shrine with the Virgin Mary standing, robed, veiled, and wearing a crown, with her hands folded before her in prayer. A dove with an olive branch perches by her proper left foot. The statue is within a niche with a short inscribed plaque on the front of the base beneath it. The base also includes a low wall with four panels that flank the niche, with twelve columns of names of those who served in World War II.
