Description:
Two allegorical figures representing South America are installed on a square base on the left side of the main entrance. One figure, a classically draped female, is seated with her proper right arm wrapped around a figure of a nude boy seated next to her. He represents the youthful character of South America. Her proper left arm is draped casually over the back of her chair. She holds a branch in her proper left hand. Her hair is pulled up on top of her head. There is a fountain spout in the base beneath the sculpture and a fountain pool below the base.
