Description:
Standing portrait of St. Vincent de Paul dressed in his ecclesiastical robes. He is depicted with a beard and moustache and holds a hat in his proper left hand. With his proper right hand he reaches down to a male figure seated at his feet. The seated figure is dressed in a torn shirt and pants, but no shoes. He is depicted with a beard, moustache and balding head. His proper right hand is raised to his heart as he looks up at St. Vincent de Paul who was known for his charity to the poor.

Remarks:
Sculpture was given to the hospital around 1900 in memory of Father Stanislas, a member of the order founded by St. Vincent. The hospital has had several locations and the sculpture has moved along with the hospital, but it has been installed at its current site since 1956.
