    Description: 
    A cross adorned on the north side with a portrait of N. Elbridge Thompson and on the south side with a portrait of Lillie May Harding. Thompson is dressed in a suit consisting of a long jacket, vest and bow tie. He is depicted with long sideburns, moustache and beard. Harding wears a long Gibson dress intricately carved with lace around the borders. Her long hair hangs over her proper right shoulder and she holds a lily in her proper left hand.

    Remarks: 
    Monument was erected by the families of both of the figures. Lillie May Harding died in 1897 at age twenty-seven. The Goode publication contains an image of only the Thompson side of the monument.
