This bronze was donated by/Sylvia West Fairbanks and David N. F. Fairbanks, M. D., and Family/and was dedicated on this spot on February 16, 1993./"George Washington" is part of/The George Washington University Permanent Collection signed Description:  Enormous bust of George Washington dressed in a jacket with a tall collar and a shirt with a ruffled neck. His head is turned slightly to the proper right and he stares straight ahead. His hair is brushed back from his face.
