    Remarks:
Joseph Slinkard sculpted the statue and was assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Pedro Teran. Mrs. Teran was the living model for earlier models of the statue. The design is suggested by the vision of the Woman in the Book of Revelation (Rev. 12:1f). IAS files contain a related excerpt from Father Edwin Kaiser's "Jubilee 1897-1972," 1972, pg. 57-58, which contains a detailed description of the statue's creation.
