Remarks:
Thomas McGlynn was a faculty member at the College from 1937-1938 and 1946. This statue is an earlier version of a larger portrait located in front of Martin Hall on campus. The McGlynn Sculpture Court was built in compliance with the proviso from the Dominican Province of St. Joseph upon their donation of the McGlynn Archives & Sculpture Collection to Providence in 1980.
