    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was commissioned by Maguire Thomas Partners and Crocker National Bank in 1983 and acquired through the Community Redevelopment Agency's Art in Public Places (One Percent for Arts) Program. When the sculpture was initially installed in 1985, the plaza between the IBM Tower and Crocker Court was known as the Crocker Center. IAS files contain CRA Inventory form (dated Nov. 5, 1985); related newsclippings from Los Angeles Times (June 21, 1985); Downtown News (June 24, 1985); and a June 20, 1985 press release, fact sheet and dedication program from Maguire Thomas Partners.
