Description:
Relief depicting a group of five students pursuing their studies. The figures are placed in a triangular pattern. At the top center is a female figure playing the guitar. To her proper left is a male figure holding a telescope in his arms. Below him is a seated female figure who is reading a book. On the other side of the central figure is a female holding a test tube. Below her is a seated male holding engineering tools.

The sculpture cost $10,000. Final approval was given Dec. 4, 1965. Inventory image files contain a historic photograph of the sculpture from the files of the Art Commission of the City of New York. IAS files contain related United States Bronze Sign Company correspondence (Oct. 13, 1966) with the artist.
