Sculpture was commissioned by and for the Venice Biennale International Exposition, 1988. Currently on a year-to-year loan to Marquette University, it was initially loaned on the occasion of a retrospective exhibition of Lippold's work held at the University's Haggerty Art Museum, 1990-1991.
