    Description: 
    A seated female classical figure wearing classical dress. Her long hair is loosely pulled back into a bun on top of her head. From the bun, the rest of her hair falls to the middle of her back. She looks downward. Her proper right hand rests on a draped cloth over her thigh and holds an art tool. A paint palette rests on the pedestal to her proper right rear. The figure sits on a pedestal and a corinthian column capital is located to her proper left.

    The original base was zinc; but it was replaced with lead-covered copper. In 1985, repairs were made to the sculpture by Hamada, inc, Industrial Roofing & Sheet Metal Work.
