    IAS files contain copies of the Indianapolis Star (Indianapolis, IN), May 23, 1929 and Sept. 29, 1929 discussing the movement of the statue from the Franklin Building in Indianapolis, to the International Typographical Union Headquarters also in Indianpolis. IAS files also contain copies of the Franklin College paper, The Franklin (Franklin, IN), vol. 58, no. 7, Jan. 18, 1963; The Franklin (Franklin, IN), Feb. 22, 1904, The Franklin College Alma Mater (Franklin, IN), vol. XXXVI, no. 3, Spring 1963. The Indiana AFL-CIO underwrote the costs to move the statue.
