    Description: 
    Atop a tall square base stands a bronze group of three soldiers and one sailor illustrating the vigilance and valor of Civil War servicemen. One infantryman takes aim with his rifle, one draws his sword, and one artilleryman kneels beside a cannon, holding a cannon tamper in his proper right hand. The sailor stands behind the three soldiers holding up a flag with his proper right hand.
