    A woman seated on her proper right leg, with her proper left knee raised. In her arms she holds a child. Both figures are nude.

    Acquired 1977.
    Remarks: 
    The sculpture is sixth in an edition of six bronzes, done after a marble created in 1930. The sculpture was a gift from the University of Wisconsin Class of 1927, in celebration of the school's 50th anniversary. The sculpture was originally placed on the campus at 800 University Avenue. It was restored and moved to its current site in 1991.
