    Description: 
    A puma sitting up straight with his head turned to the proper left and his tail curling around his feet on the proper left side. The sculpture rests on a pedestal in the center of a circular granite base.

    The Fairmount Park Art Association purchased this piece for the Azalea garden for fifteen thousand dollars from the 157th Annual Exhibition at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 1962. SOS! cover sheet notes that the current custodian of the piece is the Fairmount Park Commission and the Fairmount Park Art Association. George B. Roberts designed the granite base.
