    Description:
This work is one of four sculptures installed on the North Terrace that illustrates the "inner energies" which shaped this country. The Preacher, who represents the religious figures who have guided our ways, is a standing male figure holding his hands up to his chin. His hands are cupped into fists. He is dressed in loose robes of a preacher. His mouth is open slightly and he stares down to his proper right.
