Description:
Reclining male nude satyr seated on a rock on the edge of a shallow pool of water. He is leaning back on his proper left arm which rests on a wine sack. His proper right arm is raised and his forefinger points up. His head is thrown back, his mouth is slightly open, and his eyes are rolled back. His hair and beard are curly and small horns extend from the top of his head. He is seated on a rock which extends into the pool and his feet dangle over the side of the rock into the water below.

Remarks:
This piece was cast form an original which was found at Pompeii and is now in the National Museum in Naples. John Wanamaker gave this cast to the museum in 1905.
