    The pediment depicts a globe flanked by heroic seated figures accompanied by a figure of a genii. At each end of the pediment there are reclining figures representing America and Asia.

    Remarks: 
    This piece was part of the New Deal Art program. Goode reports this work as executed by Adolph Weinman and located at the Department of the Post Office building. The General Service Administration lists the work as executed by Renier and located at the Interstate Commerce Commission. Michael Richman's research lists George H. Snowden as the sculptor who executed the work. The sculpture was designed by Adolph A. Weinman and was executed by either Renier or Snowden.
