    Remarks: 
    The statue commemorates Christian Wahl (1829-1901), "father" of the Milwaukee Park system. Statue was originally installed at the newly built pavilion in Lake Park in 1903; but was moved in 1960 to its current site, when a new park was given his name. Cost of statue was $1,500.
