Four stylized bronze dolphins feed water through open mouths, and are mounted one to each face at the base of the pedestal. Half-surrounding the statue to its rear is a semi-circular limestone exedra surmounted by five stone columns (representing the 5 Ball brothers) with carved Corinthian capitals.
