CHAPIN, S.C./PRESENTED IN 1952/-BY FRIENDS OF THE NATIONAL ZOOLOGICAL PARK signed Description:  Reddish-colored stone bear standing on all fours in a block-like stance with his paws together. His head faces forward and his nose is pointed down. The sculpture rest on top of a rectangular shaped integral base on top of a larger rectangular-shaped base.
