    Description: 
    Reddish-colored stone bear standing on all fours in a block-like stance with his paws together. His head faces forward and his nose is pointed down. The sculpture rest on top of a rectangular shaped integral base on top of a larger rectangular-shaped base.

    IAS files contain a 1988 National Zoological Park cataloging sheet and a computer printout describing the work. Sculpture was a gift of the Friends of the National Zoo and Mrs. Francis Biddle, sister of the artist.
