    Description: 
    Two bears intertwined with one bear lying with its back on the ground and the other bear on top of it. The bottom bear wraps its paws around the neck of the top bear while the top bear attempts to bite the neck of the bottom bear. The sculpture rests on a low hexagonal-shaped base.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was erected under the Public Works of Art Project. IAS files contain a National Zoological Park 1988 cataloging sheet which notes that the material is red granite, but the Goode publication identifies the media as cast stone.
