Remarks:
Created for Seattle World's Fair. Seattle Art Museum purchased the sculpture after the fair, and later donated the sculpture to Jefferson Terrace. At the time of the SOS! survey, May 1995, the sculpture was not on site at Jefferson Terrace, and the surveyor could not locate any information regarding the sculpture's current location. IAS files contain copies from Rupp, James M., "Art in Seattle's Public Places: An Illustrated Guide," Seattle: University of Washington Press, 1992, pg. 135-136, which discusses the sculpture's creation and provenance.
