Description:
Larger than life depiction of the joining of the Latin and American civilizations. Two male figures stand in front of a horse. Both men wear short-sleeved shirts and knee-length trousers. The figure closest to the horse's head holds an upraised torch in his proper right hand and a book is crooked in his proper left arm. The other figure holds a mallet in his proper left hand and his proper right arm is around the proper right shoulder of the first figure. The horse is rearing up, perched on a rocky base by his front legs. Beneath it is a writhing sea-serpent.
