Description:
A relief of three figures arranged in a triangular configuration. The top figure is a woman in a dress, standing, holding a bundle of grain stalks in her proper left arm, and a scythe in her proper right hand. Below her are two men -- both shirtless. One kneels, holding a bowl with both hands. The other also kneels, about to plant two seeds which he holds in his proper left hand.

The sculpture was donated in October 1957, in honor of Albert and Reba Chamness who helped in the early planning stages of Palomar College. IAS files contain an article from the Palomar College newspaper Telescope dated April 30, 1976.
